Dunleavy appointee to UA Board of Regents called on 'gutless' Murkowski to 'get your shit together'
Tammy Randolph, named this week by Gov. Mike Dunleavy to the University of Alaska Board of Regents, has not been shy about her political views on Twitter.
A reader called my attention to her Twitter feed on the day she was nominated, describing her as “hyper partisan” and speculating that Randolph’s Tweets would probably soon disappear as soon as the Dunleavy administration discovered them.
Randolph is a State Farm Insurance agent in North Pole who supports President Donald Trump, the wall with Mexico, and has no time for the Obamas, the Clintons, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, former Rep. Paul Ryan, Sen. Mitt Rommey, Sen. Lisa Murkowski and almost everyone connected with the Democratic Party.
Randolph often Tweeted that Trump is a chess player and others in government are playing checkers: “Trump is very intentional. He doesn’t make spelling errors. We might not see it right away, but there’s always a message in his mis-spellings. He’s a chess player, and always five moves ahead. It’s important to think critically.”
Below are selected comments she made on Twitter before her account was made private and inaccessible to the public, just as the reader predicted. That happened shortly after the news broke that Randolph would soon be setting higher education policy in Alaska as a regent.
Of Michelle Obama, she said, “That high horse Michelle is on makes her ass look big.”
On a group of unflattering pictures of Michelle Obama headlined, “Just a reminder of how bad it was,” Randolph said, “Well, she’s a he, so….”
Randolph was unhappy with Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s decision to oppose the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court last fall, calling her “gutless. and weak. Bought and paid for. Without a spine.”
“Here’s the actual facts on the matter, @lisamurkowski. You posturing with a parade of rape victims is doing nothing relevant. Get your shit together. You have completely forgotten who you represent here in Alaska. This will not be forgotten.”
“I have opposed everything you have stood for. I hope you are finished in 2020,” she said of Murkowski. (Murkowski is not up for re-election in 2020.)
